The Nº 8209 cabinet knob, designed in the late 19th century, exhibits a cool, restrained elegance, anticipating the Style Moderne in France by perhaps two decades. Recommended finishes include burnished nickel, polished brass, burnished brass, polished chrome, and antique silver. It is often specified with the companion No 1209 knob, which is manufactured in a variety of sizes for full-size doors. The design is available in five sizes and is shown here with an optional rosette.
